Felt-Lined Catch Box
$85.00 USD
Keys, a watch, a charging cable, the little pile that collects at the edge of a desk — this lidded box gives them somewhere to land. The corners are mitred so the grain carries unbroken around the sides, and the whole interior is felt, so metal never clatters when it drops in.
- Mitred corners let the grain run unbroken around the box
- Fully felted, so keys drop in without a sound
- Flush lid lifts free, no catch to fumble

Materials
Solid walnut carcase, corners mitred and splined. Wool felt lines every inside face and the underside of the lid. Hardwax oil on the outside only — oil and felt don't mix.
Care
Wipe the outside. Lint-roll the felt. If the lid sticks during a humid spell, leave it open for a day instead of forcing it; the wood will settle back.
