Solid Brass Rule
$35.00 USD
200mm of solid brass, the graduations cut into the metal rather than inked on, so a thumb won't erase them. It has enough thickness to guide a knife without the blade climbing the edge, and enough heft to pin a page down while you write.
- Engraved scale, not printed, so it stays legible
- Edge thickness keeps a blade from riding over
- Weight holds a page flat

Materials
C360 brass, solid, 3mm thick, engraved and hand-deburred. Left unlacquered so it patinas along with everything else brass on your desk.
Care
No upkeep required. Polish it if you prefer it bright. However dark the surface gets, the engraving remains readable.
